Latitude59 — e-Estonia’s flagship startup conference now a must for investors from Europe, Asia…
At last week’s event-to-be-seen-at in e-Estonia — the startup & tech conference Latitude59 — some exciting news were announced by Estonia’s Team e-Residency: in partnership with the Finnish payments provider Holvi, they will now provide borderless business banking to the borderless digital nation.
Plus we absolutely ❤ the gamut of foreign investors pitching TO a panel of startup CEOs, our very own Karoli Hindriks among them. Having attended the conference each year, I must admit I’ve never seen as many foreign investors present than this year.
We also partnered with e-Residency in a panel called “How e-Residency and Jobbatical are solving problems faced by remote and distributed teams.” Our Head of Talent Acquisition Alina Basina shed light on how we at Jobbatical manage to keep things in check and people happy even when some of us are working remotely. It was also exciting to see e-Residency Marketing Manager Alex Wellman (a jobbaticler, by the way! Yeah, e-Residency found him through us) on the panel.
Latitude59 being THE startup and tech conference here in the Baltics meant that Jobbatical was also present in the startup area. As serendipity would have it, the Jobbatical booth was situated beside our client Nevercode who made several great hires through us just recently. By the way, they’re still hiring for some positions, check this out here if you are a Marketer and that one here if you are a Developer.
Thinking of attending next year? Mark May 24–25, 2018 in your calendar — the tickets for 2018 go on sale from October 2017.
