Files Page Updates - Employee 

We’ve improved the Files page for Employee users, making it easier to manage files and keep track of uploads.

Changes include: 

-> Pending files are now the default landing tab;

-> A clear confirmation message shows after uploading a file;

-> A new option to upload voluntary files that aren’t required;

-> New filters to search files by uploader (talent or others);

-> Sorting options based on upload date (default) or file sections.

This means there are now three ways for you to track key updates:

Employers can now create family cases without needing a corresponding employee case on the platform. Family cases can also be created using your existing employee list.

Reminder to Copy Information from Previous Cases

We’ve added a reminder to the case overview to help you reuse information from linked cases. This update speeds up form filling as you don’t have to provide the same information repeatedly.

How it works:

-> Look for the reminder on the case overview;

-> Click the ‘link’ icon to check linked cases;

-> Select a case (if there are multiple) and use the ‘Copy Case’ option from the three-dot menu to copy the information.

-> A refreshed UI that makes updates more readable;

-> New notes are highlighted upfront as soon as you open the Updates tab, making sure you don’t miss them; 

-> A new filter for important notes, so you can quickly view priority updates across all cases.

WhatsApp Notifications for Employers

We’re happy to introduce WhatsApp notifications for employers, helping you stay on top of important updates for your team in real-time.

Employers can now subscribe to WhatsApp notifications for:

-> Important Notes: Get instant updates whenever an important note is shared.
-> Unread Messages
: Get a daily summary of unread messages.
-> Due/Overdue Tasks
: Get a weekly summary of tasks that are due or overdue.

You can enable WhatsApp notifications through the Dashboard, Case Summary, Cases, and Settings pages. 

You just need two steps to connect:

Step 2: Enter the verification code to confirm

WhatsApp Notifications for Employees

We're happy to announce that employees can now receive case updates directly on WhatsApp! This new feature enhances communication and keeps employees informed about their case progress.

To enable WhatsApp notifications, employees can follow these steps:

> Go to Settings > Notifications > General > Receive notifications on WhatsApp.
> Or, for renewal cases, access the WhatsApp widget on their dashboard.

A simple two-step verification process is required to activate the feature.

Easily spot Employees needing attention on the Employees Page

We've improved the Employee Status feature on your Employer page to help you easily identify employees who need attention due to missing or expiring Visa and Residence Permits. Visa due date is highlighted only if there is no Residence Permit date on the employee's profile.

This update simplifies compliance by clearly highlighting pending priority renewals.

Auto-fill for “Add Employee” flow

The "Add Employee" flow now features an auto-fill functionality to pre-populate form fields based on employers' previous entries. This feature automatically suggests data when you select a position, potentially filling up to 70% of the form.

- Position-based Auto-Fill: As you select a position (e.g., "Software Engineer") previously used for another case, relevant data will be automatically suggested in the new form.
- Previously Used Options:
The nationality and position fields display past selections for quick and easy re-use.

Customizable Entries: All auto-filled data remains editable, allowing you to modify information as needed.

Save cases as drafts

Employers are now able to save their cases as drafts.
If you don’t have the full information for a case, you can click the “Save changes” button on the Add New Employee flow to save it as a draft. Whenever you are ready to complete the missing information, you can find the draft case under the “Pending draft cases with you” tab and submit your new case once you’ve filled all the required fields.

Case Milestones give you a bird’s eye view over three case milestones and their timelines: Visa, Resident Permit, and Work Permit. You can follow your employee’s mobility journey through multiple automatically updated statuses, and plan accordingly without the need for manual updates from your case agent.
